In Progress: Full-Scale Renovation & Addition

This extensive renovation project highlights how thoughtful design and construction can completely transform a dated layout into a modern, functional, and luxurious home.
Originally, the house had a 1980s addition over the garage, which left the second floor with only one bathroom shared between the primary suite and another bedroom. In the back, a large sun deck offered little usable space. Our team enclosed that deck and incorporated it into the home’s square footage, allowing us to create a true primary suite with vaulted ceilings and a much more functional layout.
On the main floor, the kitchen was awkwardly located in what had once been a porch from the 1950s, featuring a cramped 6'6" ceiling. We reimagined this space by raising the entire first-floor roofline. This allowed us to match the height of the second-story addition, unify the exterior, and dramatically enhance the interior with ceiling heights ranging from 8 to 14 feet. The result includes a vaulted entryway and a spacious, open-concept kitchen.
We also added a new front porch to bring balance to the home's curb appeal and define a more welcoming entry point. Throughout the home, we addressed several underutilized areas—repurposing wasted space and concealing ductwork with smart, intentional design solutions.
